  • By jingo, one has to admire bone-deep conviction like this:  Saddam ends hunger strike after missing one meal

Saddam Hussein ended a brief hunger
strike after missing just one meal in his U.S.-run prison, a
U.S. military spokesman said on Friday.

The former Iraqi leader had refused lunch on Thursday in
protest at the killing of one of his lawyers by gunmen, but the
spokesman said he ate his evening meal.

    He's a real inspiration, isn't he?  e-rofl

  • What a guy. ROFL.

Here's my guess: he was hoping the guards would try to force feed him so he could compalin about it. Disappointed in that hope, he decided that an empty stomach just wasn't worth it. LOL

  • Talk about your fearless leader! He needs to be shot. Do it on Pay-Per-View and give the proceeds to the families of the US Servicemen/women or their families. Just a thought. Not very Christian-like, but enuff is enuff!
