Today would have been our 38th anniversary.
Sigh.
My wretched memory has struck again, and I can't recall what I did that day, particularly. Beyond going up to the church in the early evening or late afternoon for the 8 p.m. wedding.
I'm not going to sit around and be morose, however. That accomplishes zip. I'm having lunch with Jonathan at the Black-Eyed Pea, then run errands, and tonight Elaine and I are braving the wilds of Dallas to attend the Men's gymnastic competition of the United States Gymnastics Competition being held at the American Airlines Center.

God bless this day, Anne, and your memory of it. You are a huge example to me-- may God grant me the grace to survive as you have, should Rich be taken from me.
Praise the Lord for the strong example of marriage I received from y'all. Many wonderful lessons and memories. Beth and I just went on a tiny vacation to the Great Wolf Lodge with my two sweet little darling daughters. When reminiscing about the 10 day long road trip to Disney World you and Daddy took the five of us on, my only thought is....."how.....how?"
