It's astounding to me that Martha Stewart was so feted on NFNS.
The woman spent time in the federal slammer for insider trading, for crying out loud. Yet there were contestants hopping up and down and giggling in a state of near-hysteria, so excited they were by being in The Presence.
It's not that I'm against giving those who've paid their debt to society a second chance...I most assuredly am....but it bothers me a bit when being convicted of and serving time for a felony doesn't seem to have made a significant difference in a person's life at all. Stewart still has a show, magazines, merchandise carried who-knows-where-all, books, etc....just as if she'd never been inside a prison for any reason than donating cookies.
Maybe I'm just being a witch, but it bugged me more than a little.

Its no different than a man sitting under a white-man-hating pastor for over twenty years and saying he never heard the hatred. It is who the media wants people to like, that we like. Have you noticed that every time something happens in our nation, like gay marriages in CA, they bring in interviews with biblical scholars and say they are close minded. The media has convince the whole nation that everyone has gay people all around them and that it is cool. We are nation being desensitized to sin. We don't flinch, no actually we do flinch but the media drops it and we follow right along like dumb sheep. There should be more outrage that MS stole money, that the institute of marriage is being destroyed and that Barak Obama sat under the hateful teaching of a man for 20 years and lies and says he never heard it. Come on Christians open up your minds and think.
Hooray for the Brits. :birdie: I guess I'm not too surprised but then look at the Royal family. :what:Oh well.
