Hmmmm. Conflicting info.
WFAA has published a photo of the bomb squad robot approaching the "suspicious device", which was found to contain gunpowder and BB pellets:
Apparently a kid said he had a pipe bomb, but then, what's the robot doing outside?
I daresay it'll all be sorted out by the evening news. ;^)
Still, it's scary that there actually WAS an explosive device found!

Kinda reminds me of the shoe device on the airplane. Wonder how it could be made to explode. Throw it on the ground? nah. Drop kick it?? nay. Light a match and put it with the gunpowder? And watch it blow up in your face? One hopes not. Sorry I missed the robot.
Hey, that robot looks like the one they used in a nearby town...actually, in the town where I work...recently. When a "suspicious device" was found in a carwash. They evacuated the carwash and adjacent businesses such as a bowling alley. the suspect has confessed and his testimony has led police to a garage full of pipe bomb stuff. They used a little robot just like this one to take down the...well it was a pipe bomb, actually...in the car wash. All current news in the Top of Utah.
Wow.
Lord, have mercy.
