  • Waiting for Faith...

No pressure, of course, Beth!  e-ghost

I would have said "Waiting for Faith and Bridgette", only now it'd be best if the latter would delay her appearance until next week, soonest.  Could have come last week, no problem, but did she?  No-o-o-o-oooo.  Naturally not.  And now Jason is having surgery on his knee tomorrow morning, which will keep him chained to a sofa and bed - barring occasionally putting some light pressure on it - for a week.

Guess who'll doubtless decide "Lemme OUT!" tomorrow evening?

    We'll hope not.

However, so far's I'm aware, there's not a thing in the world hindering Faith from showing up so we can all get a look at her.  I've got a brand spanking new "It's a Girl!" flag to hang off the front porch, just waiting for a baby girl to GET BORN ALREADY.

    No pressure, though.  curtain

  • I'm with you...Come on Faith!!!  What's holding you back?  I'm sure it is my lack of patience.  She senses it, and God is trying to teach me patience.  God's timing is perfect, God's timing is perfect, God's timing is perfect (I have to keep reminding myself).  Pray she will come soon.  And for it to work out with hannah.  We have 2 babysitters lined up.  One started a new job this week, and the other starts babysitting a 3 week old full time next week.  And, Hannah has been waking up 2-3 times a night and wanting to cuddle, so laboring while she is sleeping might be tough too.  Pray God will work it all out.

Oh, and pray that after Faith is born, we could get her birth certificate and pass port quickly with no problems, otherwise, she won't be able to come home for Christmas.

  • That's what your mother mentioned! Will for sure be praying for that. =8^o

Come ON, Faith! Step lively, now.

  • My son Ian was two weeks late, and 23 hours in actually arriving. He was late turning over. He hates to swim and never learned it well. He's been late in doing alot of things, and I think his birth was the Lord's way of warning us that we were going to have to have patience with this one.

Meg, on the other hand, was doing jumping jacks on my bladder the last half of my time with her, wasted no time in arriving, and has almost overtaken Ian in every other way except adorableness. Always in a hurry for tomorrow, that's Meg.

  • We're going to hope Faith doesn't emulate Ian, that's for sure!
