  • I saw this in the news, and I have a hard time understanding it. Like you, I don't think that Barker would be that sort of person. But what else can explain it? Is it possible that Barker has just been in his happy little Price is Right, animal rights world and hasn't noticed how toxic Rosie is, only noticing that she's an energetic person who attracts attention? That's hard to believe, though. You'd pretty much have to be media-ignorant not to know that Rosie came close to single-handedly destroying "The View" (and it may yet not ultimately survive the debacle) and tried to take at least two of her fellow "View"ers down with her, but how can that be possible for someone who's IN the broadcast entertainment media?
