Kirstin's sister-in-law very kindly sent me the following photo this morning, of Bethie in her school uniform:
Note the matching bow on her head. Is she making a parochial school fashion statement or what? It's almost impossible to believe she and Brianna have begun first grade.

That plaid is very popular in Catholic parochial schools! It's the same one the girls wore at St. Andrews' Catholic School years ago.
Well, then, high time to take things to a new, higher level of quality. That plaid is so YESTERDAY.
That uniform is very similar to what the grade school kids wore at my school (I only went 6th through 8th grade there and the 6th-8th graders "graduated" from the jumper to a plain plaid skirt)our plaid was different but same colors. I love school uniforms, I wish that all schools had some sort of uniform. It would make shopping for school clothes and getting them dressed a snap.
