You know, fond as I am of SuperTarget, it's clear they are not on a quick-response inventory system for if they were, this would not be such a common sight:

I have rarely seen a store that so regularly runs low on or entirely
out of merchandise. Heck of a way to run a business, sez I.

They need to take inventory control lessons from WalMart. I understand they're the gold standard for that sort of thing. Now watch you go to WalMart and document lots of empty shelves there!
You should send those pics to the main office of Target. Be interesting to see how they respond.
Well, it was a good suggestion, Lois.
Unfortunately, no can do. Went to the Target.com site and attempted to find an email address to which to send this entry, to no avail. There's a "Contact us" link, alright, but when clicked it goes to a "sorry, no such page" message! Tried different pages and searches, but finally gave up. They've removed any way to simply email someone at the home office.
I stopped by Super Target on my way home from picking up my son from the airport day before yesterday and found it to be quite well stocked (I was at one up in Denver, the one I go to in Colorado Springs often seems to be out of things). It's funny because our Walmart is regularly out of things. Guess it depends upon the area!
You should see the shelves in our area post katrina not a thing you want and after going to several stores you just pick something else. Plus everything costs a lot more.
