  • [stricken]  Omigoodness!  I feel dreadful. 

    This morning it finally dawned on me that Charles doubtless did NOT receive the letter I sent him a week ago, seeing as how I completely forgot the increase in postage and stuck one of my remaining 37¢ stamps on it, then rushed to the post office to send it off. 

    Hope others have written him in the interim.

    Bet that letter gets returned any day now, marked "insufficient postage."

    You think they'd return a letter to a military address this soon after the postage amounts have changed? It'll be interesting to see.

  • AAMOF, the woman at the post office this morning (turns out the letter I sent him required add'l postage...glad I asked!) thought there was a fair chance it made it through.

    Didn't get returned today, either, so we'll see. ;^)
