  • This evening marked the beginning of a long, long series of events for Jessica and Jason:  Brianna performed with the other kindergarteners at her school's PTA meeting tonight. 

    How many times did Don and I go to those over the past quarter century? 

    And now it's the grandchildren's turn.

    Naturally she wound up being on the side farthest from me, though at least she was on the front row, on the far left (sorry about the Village-of-the-Damned effect....don't know what caused that):

  • I'm sorry, I can't stop laughing at that first picture. Funniest picture of kindergarteners I've seen in long time. Really weird effect with the eyes. If I saw that crew in person, I'd run away saying "the aliens are among us!"

    Very bizarre.

    But of course, your little granddaughter is a cutie.

    I tried to get the cropped, fixed photo to not DO that, but it didn't matter which photo editing program I used, there were the weird eyes. I could go in and fix each one individually, but that'd be quite time consuming, so it looks like we're stuck with Spooky Alien Kids From Outer Space. ;^)

  • Anne, they ARE adorable, but that is REALLY hilarious. They look like those little junk-raider characters in Star Wars..the ones who salvage droids!

  • I laughed out loud too.  I've had that happen with one person in a group shot, but to accomplish it with everyone is spectacular.
