It finally happened.
Half of it, at least. This afternoon Dmitry drove himself to Carolyn's (a long trip south on Hulen) and will drive himself back home tonight.

BTW, he made it home just fine. I was standing outside with Max, pondering what to do with the empty spot where that huge bush used to be, when he drove up. And he said Carolyn's feeling better. ;^)
