  • Isn't that amazing? Just goes to show what you can't assume.

I've heard some people be pretty hard on the judges for their initial reaction, but I think folks need to remember that these judges have seen literally thousands of people over the years, and probably have pretty good instincts based on lots experience. As long as you're willing to admit when you're wrong, I don't think you can help having an instinctive reaction in a situation like that. And of course, Simon's refusal to admit he was wrong was clearly meant to be a joke.

  • :so-cool: She is so good! I'm glad she got her day in the sun!!! I hope she's appreciated in her home town.

  • Amazing! I love stuff like this. the richness and depth of her voice, and just like in the Paul Potts video, the change that comes over the audience and the judges.  very good.

  • It brings tears to my eyes no matter how many times I see it. I love watching the faces of the judges as she sings those first few notes. Shock doesn't describe it. I feel like she is striking a blow for all of us that were bullied and teased at school for being different. I've heard talk of a record deal. I hope so. Wouldn't that be wonderful?
