Today I went down and bought myself that twin adjustable bed I'd wanted, hoping that'll help me sleep. It gets delivered on Wednesday! Could have had it tomorrow only Don's and my king bed is still there, so there wouldn't be room.
Tomorrow after church I'm going to go rent a U-Haul truck (the small one) and Charles and Dmitry (and perhaps Dan and Joe, but I haven't brought it up to them yet, anyway Charles insists he and Dmitry can manage by themselves) will take the chair Don liked so much (heaven knows why...I've never cared for it particularly) from the bedroom and the king bed over to Jessica's, pick up one of hers, then continue on to Charles' apartment so he can have that bed and the chair.
Plus tomorrow will be my first time to sing in the Christ Chapel choir, poor things. Whatever key it is they favor is not a key favorable to me, that's for sure. It's either too high or too low.
I'll try to sing quietly or else lip-synch.

go ahead and lip sync, just try to remember NOT to play your air guitar, kay? LOL
all that furniture shifting sounds pretty busy and rather happy. I can hardly wait to hear how the adjustable bed works for you. (HUG) Praying for you.
I've always loved the idea of getting rid of furniture to open up space. I think the amount of space we live in is often a metaphor for our lives. Those who willingly have alot of clutter are, I think, trying to bury issues in their lives. But all that needs to take into account the circumstances of our lives and those who live with us. I'm glad you are taking steps to design your very own spaces. That's a very healthy step!
Did I tell you Meredith just joined the children's choir at St. Andrews? She's only been twice so far but she's learned a lot already. How fun that you're in the choir too! What service? The 11:00?
No, I didn't know about Marebear's joining the children's choir! That's terrific! Bless her heart.
As to which service...well, theoretically, yes, the 11:00 a.m.
Unfortunately I wound up bailing on it this morning, not understanding the seating chart or being comfortable with the whole thing, so was overtaken by a crying fit. Muttered "I'm sorry, I can't do this" and dashed out the door. :sigh:
Right now I don't handle the unknown very well. It's strange. When Don was alive that sort of thing wouldn't have thrown me; now it doesn't take much to knock me for a loop.
Maybe next week.
Sorry I didn't read this Saturday, as we could have loaned you our new pickup - and John would have liked to help. I hope all went well.
