This afternoon my nephew Cole came to play!
This was a real pleasure, as I don't get to see him near often enough.
He, Dmitry and I had a nice time playing with Lincoln logs, playing
ball (using plastic bowling pins as bats and a juggling ball as the
ball....we're big on improvisation around here), watching videos (Miss
Pattycake has another convert, and where the heck are all my Miss
Pattycake DVD's? I could only find one), and in general just playing
around.
Dmitry's log cabin beat the socks off mine:
Cole liked whacking the ball better than most anything else....

Looks like a wonderful time was had by all! You rank right up there with
Julie Andrews for baby sitting, tho much better, I do believe.
Cole watched the video about 30 times - he loves it! He especially likes the beginning where you say "you got it" or something. Then he claps and cheers and I have to join in. No lack of self esteem over here!
I feel awful that I looked at your living room, and said "what a mess", then gave you a pittance of a candy bar, collected Cole and left! ARGH - you must have said when we left.
Next time (tomorrow?) (kidding) I will clean up! Many thanks for watching him and taking the well-loved video!
No, no....it took me 15 minutes, max, to put away. I've got it down to a science.
