Girls, girls....and more girls!
Jessica called to tell me their new baby is also a girl.
Jason is undeniably a bit disappointed, as he'd really, really wanted a little boy, already having been blessed with two bee-yoo-ti-ful daughters, but there it is. The LORD said "no, I've got you pegged as the father of daughters", apparently. ;^)
What with Alex and Beth's new daughter due in August, and now this one due in September, won't the cousins have a good time once Alex and Beth return home in a couple of years? Heaven knows Jonathan and Justin (born three weeks apart) have always enjoyed each other, as have Bethany and Brianna (born five months apart).
At large family parties, though, Benjamin, Bryson and Cole will doubtless be found hovering together, unnerved by the preponderance of female cousins (and one sister).

Congratulations on the upcoming new girls to your family!! There is one cousin younger than Katherine and like all of her other cousins he is all boy. (Sadly she does have 2 girl cousins, but my brother and his family have disappeared, we have a vague idea as to where they may or may not be, but there is no relationship there anymore). Katherine on occaision asks for a sister, but I think for the moment she enjoys being the only girl
.
I'm the only guy in our clan, too and I definitely know that "outnumbered feeling"!! They do tend to spoil me so I guess I won't complain too much. My nephew, Ruben, has been "passed the torch", so he's learning when to crank it up a few notches. Last reunion, he almost pulled off a perfect game. Only had to leave his seat once!! Ain't we awful!?!?
