Oh! I see, it has that muter thing in the end of it! A tuba would be great! Did you know that Conrad played the tuba in high school band? Winton Marsalis was a couple of years older, but was in the same school band with him for a little while! That's Conrad's claim to fame! ;^)
I still can't get a trumpet out of it. Even allowing for the muter thingy.
Conrad played the tuba? I didn't know that!
This is weird, how Conrad played the tuba then was a submariner in the Navy, while Alex is a tubist in the Navy, and Charles is a submariner.
Uhm... As I spent about 3 hours handling a trumpet this morning... My reaction is:
?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Mary? C'mon, fess up!
A trumpet? That's absolutely ridiculous. Eleanor is correct. It is obviously the Virgin Mary.
haha...I was thinking it was a chili pepper on wheels or something...you Texans, sheesh!~K.
That is a riot. K I thought it was a chili pepper too.
I was going to say Jesus ascending or Our Lady of Zeitun...
I thought it was a platapus (I know that's not spelled right, but I'm tired and too lazy to look it up )
Whoever designed that should be fired. Would ANYONE, on being given that cookie, think "trumpet?" I'd be insulted if I were a trumpeter. Trumpets AREN'T CURVED, to point out the most obvious flaw.
I wouldn't even be able to figure out how to use frosting to decorate it so it DOES look like a trumpet. The outline's totally wrong, ISTM.
Though apparently Margaret has more imagination than the two of us combined, since she said she could "see" it.
I'm late to the game, but I thought it was a map of the U.S. after a hurricane had put Florida under water.

Dolphin?????
Good try, but nope.
Manatee. Only the head's too small, so that's probably wrong.
Just the thing to have on hand when overcome with the desire to make sea-mammal-themed cookies.
Another excellent guess, unfortunately, equally wrong.
I'll give a hint: it's not a critter.
Ghost!
A very good suggestion, Mom.
But that's not it, either.
is it a state or country? hmmm...
Not a state or country...it's an actual item that can be picked up, carried around, etc.
Good Lord this is the kind of thing that keeps me awake nights!
Well, I wouldn't want your sleeplessness on my conscience so I'll tell....
It's supposed to be a trumpet. Personally, I wouldn't have a clue how to go about turning that into a trumpet. =8^o
O.K. someone is messing with us!!! Now I know what it is and still don't see it. But thanks for not letting me keep trying!! 8 ^ )

I was trying to find a tuba, you see.
