Wow, bless your heart! You're so right about not being able to have a joyous homecoming unless someone goes away for awhile. I'll be praying for your during the while. And I'm anxious to hear if you beat your photo taking record!
Oh, I've beaten it at 797! I'm thinking perhaps 300 or maybe 400 has been the previous high.
Took a crazy number of photos this month, though, what with the vacation, and Dan's graduation, and the boys' visit, etc.

How many of the pics you take do you actually save? Are you one who keeps 'em all or do you prune judiciously? I prune at the time and then again at the end of the year.
I prune some. Not as much as I should, but some. If it's really ghastly it gets chucked right then, but otherwise it stays.
Tell you what I need to do, and that's burn 'em onto a CD. The most important get transferred to Yahoo or Flickr, so they're safe in the event the hard drive crashes, but I like to also have 'em on CD's.
