Fine. If that's the way Xanga's gonna be, I'll just use links to the photos instead. Last night the Ivys got together at Kirstin's house for pizza, wings and salad (the brownie trifle, though made, wound up being left home accidentally). Uncle Charles is always a hit with the wee ones, and Hannah was no exception, being delighted to be "bootie bumped" down the stairs. She wanted it over and over again:
Here's Alex and Hannah chatting with Jessica and Charles:
In the breakfast area were Beth, Kirstin holding Bryson, Don, and Jonathan giving his mother pointed looks, intended to demonstrate disapproval of her photographic activity. Ha! I changed your diapers, boy. Don't try to intimidate me.
Don and Jessica in the kitchen:
We didn't stay long, as the kiddos had school this morning; I loved this shot of Don soliciting a hug from Bethie:
It was a terrific evening! Thanks, Kirstin and Matt, for letting us all descend upon y'all. ;^)

That is a great picture...and whoah! What a house! I'm glad that you are having such family times, Anne. Glad that you got the pictures up.
Yes, it's neat when the daughter has a much larger, nicer house than do we.
Makes having the family gather over THERE the most reasonable thing to do.
Ooooohhhhhh booty bouncing!!!!!
That is quite a lovely house!! Your family always looks like lots of fun.
Anne, where did you all park? Obviously, not in the driveway that's too short for even one car. Obviously, not in the back yard because of the iron fence. Obviously, not in the street in front of the house, as there are no cars visible. Is there a guest parking lot at the front of the neighborhood, andpart of their homeowner's association dues pays for a shuttle service?
Har de har har, Plummy. There's plenty of street parking available, in fact.
Cars aren't visible because I cropped the photo so as to bring in Don and Bethie closer...the concrete seen is their driveway.
So that concrete at the front isn't a sidewalk but their driveway?
Mostly. If memory serves there IS a sidewalk, but that's actually a three-car garage with only the two-car portion visible. To the left is another chunk o' garage. The photo's taken at an angle, and between that and the cropping it makes it look like there's more concrete than there probably is.
