ARGH! I didn't have my CAMERA!
There's been a peppy thunderstorm to our east, and when I came out of
the Target off of Seventh Street it was raining a bit, with
thunder. Glancing to my left I stopped dead in my tracks . . .
behind Fort Worth's downtown was a vivid, low-to-the-horizon
rainbow! I've never seen one hugging the horizon like that
before. At no point did it rise taller than the tallest
building. It was simply gorgeous! And. I. Did. Not. Have. A. Camera.

Only my cellphone's camera, which gave it it's best shot, but couldn't manage the colors:
Still, if you can make out the whitish arc, THAT was actually a beautiful rainbow.
Darnedest thing I've ever seen.

We heard the thunder and can't believe nary a drop of rain fell. It was the little cloud that cried and kicked its feet!! But no rain. Maybe later. Tho your dad says it's going to the east also. We'll see. Mom PS did you get your hotel room?
Yes I did. All set, I am!
Don says there's some more stuff about a hundred miles off, moving this way. Probably won't hold together, but you never know.
Neat - it must have been early afternoonish for the rainbow to be that low.
No, it was about 5:00 p.m.
Told you it was strange!
