Well, that's just silly. There's this fabulous, big house for
sale not far from Mom and Dad, which I've always admired, and watched
with great interest as it was built. It's finally on the market,
so I could look on the internet for particulars. It's over 4000
sq ft, with a circular drive, a 14 x 25 ft. master bedroom, a 9 x 25
ft. entryway. A gourmet kitchen.Two bedrooms.
TWO bedrooms? In a 4000+ sq ft house? What lunatic builds a
house that size and only arranges for TWO bedrooms?

People who don't want their grandkids to come visit them.
It's amazing how many 3000+ sq ft. houses there are now with only three bedrooms. It's the same thing as the gourment kitchens for people who rarely cook and the big living rooms for people who never curl up together in the living room. It's all about *having* the stuff, even if you work all the time and eat half your meals out.
Elaine says it's amazing how many large houses in the area only have three bedrooms...houses one would expect to have at least four. Strange!
And they've cut down the number of prospective buyers when that time comes.
