Yesterday Beth had a sonogram, and it's estimated Baby is a bit over 8 pounds, but also that it'll be at least a few more days before he or she decides to make The Big Trip.
I can never read these things, though.
That's the profile.
Bless her heart, Beth must be about to come unglued with desire to have Baby o-u-t, OUT.

Bless her heart!! That's a belly!!! 8 pounds is a nice sized baby (mine ranged from 10 lb 1 oz down to 7 lb 7 oz). Congrats on the soon to be met grandchild and prayers that the delivery goes smoothly.
Boy does that take me back. They said my Meg would be "a bit over 8 pounds". She was 9.6, and I had made a sling out of an old sheet to help me keep my stomach attached to the rest of me! The good news is that she was a pretty easy delivery, though.
