It's happened.
Charles turns 18 years old today.

Here he is at 6 1/2 years old. Note the missing front tooth.
Mr. Cool in tails at his sister, Kirstin's, wedding at 11 years old. Only he and Matt wore tails.
Freshman year at Heights, in the band.
Nearly all grown up, and in a few months will head off to Texas Tech.
[wailing] They grow so dang fast!

That boy is one good-lookin dude. That last picture-- put him in a Stetson and chaps and he'd be a killer. BTW, that picture of you and Don makes it all clear. Pure Texas- big smiles and lotsa life!
Neat pictures! He looks like a fine young man. I love it that you can usually see a hint of the adult in the baby. We look at our babies and wonder what they'll look like when grown, then look back on the baby pics and say - well, OF COURSE that's what he/she looks like.
Oh man. I have a friend who, when our boys turned six, said "they are 1/3 of the way to 18" Yikes. LOL I bet we have a lot of good years beetween now & then though.

Cheri, my ONLY is half-way through his 30th year! Wowsers.
His cousin Stacy has already planned his 30th birthday party.
Of course, she's planned it for ME - I'll get the bills to pay. But that's ok. She and Jason are very close and she knows just what he likes. He'll be thrilled. We're planning to rent a movie theatre - he's Movie Guy anyway. We'll invite people from work and old friends and of course, this endless clan of ours. I'm lookin' forward to the party, although it can take its sweet ol' time gettin' here!
