After I picked him up from school (and believe me, he was grumping this morning about being an 18 year old senior being driven to school
) he requested to be dropped off at Dairy Queen.
Fine. He does that occasionally. This time, however, he was gone for over an hour. What on earth was keeping him, I wondered?
Ah! Birthday party for him. Mystery solved.

WHERE is there a DQ in Fort Worth??? I know of the one in Arlington but its kinda icky. I'm dying for ice cream cake lately, the exact kind I had growing up which I believe were from Baskin Robbins. & The one on Eastchase closed down. Must.have.ice.cream.
My DEAR! Just head west on I-30, get off at the Montgomery Street exit and go north (to the right). Several blocks down on the left is the Dairy Queen.
Charles says it's common to hear from customers that they had no idea there were any DQ's left, and much excited to be able to indulge in favored treats.
YES I went to look it up after asking you and realized i've SEEN IT. EVERY time we go to the musuem (a lot, now that we have a membership) I see it. I just don't NOTICE it. Silly. Thanks
Next time. We stop. My son liked the star popsicle type bar (he is lactose-intolerant, although he had a few bites of ice cream Thursday & it didn't effect him like it used to-waking up in the middle of the night screaming for at least an hour ugh).
