Are you ever bothered and/or surprised about something which one actually ought not be at any rate surprised about?
It's never fun to be tailgated by a speeder, but it tends to add an element of cognitive dissonance when the tailgater has a handicapped card dangling from his or her rearview mirror.
Speaking of which, shouldn't those things be removed when the car's being driven? I don't see how they aren't blocking a fairly significant chunk of visibility.

In California a person can be ticketed for driving with a handicapped card hanging on the rearview mirror, I don't know about other states, but I'm sure that California isn't the only one with the law.
Here to add interest to driving is the ice, there is no experience quite like being tailgated on a road that has about as much traction as a ice rink.
I find it hard to believe it's illegal here in Texas, considering how common a sight it is.
And I can only imagine how horrid it must be to be tailgated on icy roads. =8^0
It's horrid all right. Also horrid is the people who insist on speeding, and therefore passing, in fishtail conditions.
However, it is 65 today, so there are no fishtail conditions. We're expecting them tomorrow, though. What a winter it's been!
