Faith has begun to crawl!
Can you believe it? Only four and a half months old.
This evening we had a webcam visit with Alex and Beth, so we could check out Faith’s moves for ourselves. Hannah popped in and out, but mainly stayed in one of those pop-up boxes or whatever they are that toddlers enjoy so much.
Being photos taken of a computer monitor, they’re not terrific, but still….better than nothing:

She’s got the moves! Watching babies turn into toddlers (and doesn’t it really start with crawling?) is one of the most fascinating things! They learn so quickly how to coordinate moves!
Amy says Derek is just at the “any day” point with crawling. Hopefully they’ll get on the “video” stick for all of us grandmas! He has three and none of us are closer than 3.5 hours away. And they don’t do video at all. The videos I’ve posted of him seem kind of exotic to them! Sheesh. I guess that they’re so involved with Derek actually doing this cool stuff, they don’t think to capture it on video!

Wow, that’s amazing, at four months! Maria was eight months before she finally took off. Those second-borns always seem to hit the ground running, don’t they? Lizzy looked like a future flying trapeze artist, on the jungle gym at the park when she was all of two or so.
Wow!! It’s hard to believe that she’s 4 months old already (never mind the crawling!!)….you have brilliant grandchildren
Call it the little sister syndrome – anything you can do – I can do, too! What fun they’re going to have! BTW – Faith is so pretty – her eyes look so dark!
