Happy Adoption Day, Dmitry! ;^>
Four years ago this very day we were in Cheboksary, Chuvashia for our court date:
It’s simply astonishing how much he’s changed in the intervening four years, although naturally a lot of it is normal growth and development due to going from 13 years old to 17 years old. Doesn’t really matter why….point is, he’s gone from that boy to this one:
It’s been a real blessing having you in the family, Dmitry.

Dmitry, it was fun sending your parents off to Russia to get you, and it’s been fun watching you grow into the Ivy you are becoming. Looking forward to meeting you in person one day!
