Alright, THIS is way too cool. ;^)
Go here and you can click on the various red dots and see panoramic photos of that spot. A virtual tour of downtown Fort Worth! In the lower left there are two red dots, maybe a half-inch apart, one above the other. Just to the right of a tall building. See 'em? Click on the top dot and you'll be able to see what has to be one of the dopiest statues ever created...."Man With Briefcase." It's a cut-out thing. Very strange.
Fort Worth is home to some truly peculiar statues, heaven knows why.

That briefcase man is something. Odd how what stimulates some has zero effect on others. I guess that's "modern expressionism" at work.
Why a briefcase man? Why not a cowboy? Or at least a businessman in a Stetson? Too "J.R."?
If I were flipping through a coffee table book of statuary in various US cities and saw briefcase man, I'd think Forth Worth maybe after about 200 guesses. Maybe that's the point? Show that Ft Worth is more than the stereotype?
It's like the goofy arch near our mall. It says NOTHING about Lycoming County, but that's what the mall's named for. It was a lot of money - some "famous" artist designed it, so of course, his "vision" is a brilliant one. Ugh!

Oh, the link-page is cool, though. I love those things.
I've entered a contest with that light switch cover on my blog, and the woman who is hosting the contest has it so when you click on the photos of our pieces, the description of how we made them comes up in a pop-up. Very cool.

Oooh, may I have the link to that site with your switchplate cover?
