Tonight I headed….rather late in the evening, due to Alex, Beth, and
Hannah’s visit!….to Wal-Mart to collect goodies for a ministry to the
Fort Worth Cats. People provide goodie bags for the road, and
Bible study sheets are included before they’re handed over.Anyway, when I arrived at the Wal-Mart the price of gas was
$2.79. Not great, but okay. Decided I’d get some on my way
out.Except when I walked out of the store 30 minutes later, it was $2.85!

I didn’t get any.

We got gas for 2.64 in South Arlington last night. And today it was 2.68 at the QT near me – may be up now ? I don’t know. I just know to fill up if I find it low enough!
My mother-in-law told me about a Shell in Burleson where the prices are always low, she works off 35 so she goes over there, it was 2.50-something the other day.
Last I paid was $2.55, but it went up on Saturday. It’s now $2.61.
I’m assuming the FW Cats are a minor league ball team? It took me a few readings to figure that one out. Sounds like a cool ministry.
I wanna smack Plumtree. He was talking about $2.55 a week ago in another context. The lowest it’s been here in months is $2.75, as of yesterday.
It’s about $2.79 for 85 octane here, $2.83 or so for 87 octane. $2.99 for diesel. Ouch!
