Sunset was pretty last night, too. We ate at the pancake house and were driving home about that time or I wouldn’t have noticed! One reason I love cruises. I watch the sunsets every night!!
The way we’d come home each night when Faron used to pick me up from the office was up “over the mountain,” not going through town, but the back way through the hills. As we crested the tallest part of the drive each night, it’d be about 5 pm, and from about September through April we’d see the most spectacular sunsets. Often Faron would be fighting to see at all because of course, the sun’d be shining right into his eyes, but oh, the sunsets! We can get the same view out our kitchen windows, too, as we stand at the sink.
I do love a pretty sunset. I like a pretty sunrise, too, but rarely see THOSE!
Because of where our house sits the sunrise every morning is quite stunning….but I do really try to sleep just a tad later than sunrise
